Precision Single Filter Basket with Funnel (Set)

A 1-cup filter that is second to none. Developed for approximately 9 grams of ground coffee – with the aim of achieving the same grind and in-cup quality as an 18g filter.

The hole pattern was designed to be strictly geometric, ensuring that each hole has the exact same distance to the next and extends to the edge of the almost vertical wall.

Machined from solid material with a wall thickness of about 1 mm, the filter remains perfectly dimensionally stable even at a brewing pressure of 9 Bar – deformation is impossible.

In combination with the perfectly matched magnetic funnel, through which tamping is performed, the area outside the filter remains perfectly clean. This is crucial as the brewing shower head sits very close to this position. The effective distance to the shower head for the La Marzocco Linea Micra is approximately 0.2 mm, and for a standard E61 brew group, it is about 1.2 mm.

Note: Due to the lower water volume required to saturate the puck compared to a double filter, the first drop reaches the bottom of the filter after 2–3 seconds and begins to flow into the cup. Accordingly, the brewing time should be shorter than for a filter filled with, for example, 18 g.

Fits all common 58 mm portafilters, such as those from La Marzocco, Bezzera, ECM, Profitec etc.
